I don’t know if you know, ya know, but Polished by Leanne is doing a Facebook event on 9th August at 6pm gmt! During this event Leanne will launch a brand new collection, will have a prize draw to win a nail & beauty box, will be doing a flash sale on random lines in her store, and there will be a big surprise for one of her regular customers. Plus, there will also be special limited edition polishes available but only during the event.
Well today I have Polished by Leanne’s brand new collection to show you. The Out of this World collection consists of 4 space themed polishes and they are all phenomenally pretty! Lets dive right in so you can decide which (probably all) of these pretties that you want. All photos are 2 coats with 2 coats of Seche.
Boys Are From Mars is a red jelly polish packed with holo shimmer and pink to gold flakies which gives it a beautiful bronzed look in certain lights.
Milky Way is a gorgeous purple jelly full of holo shimmer and blue flakies. I love how bold the blue flakies are, they just stand right out from the polish.
Neptune is a beautiful teal blue with green, blue and pink/gold flakies in it which gives the polish awesome depth when it is on the nail. It reminds me of a river in a way but it is absolutely stunning.
The Unknown is a black jelly packed with mysterious flakies, in some lights they are blue to green shift and in other lights they are purple to pink shifts. I could only capture the blue shift on camera but trust me when I say that it’s lush.
I adore crelly and flakies with a matte topcoat on and I thought Neptune would be perfect for it, so I tried it and it was gorgeous, so I tried it on all of them and they are all perfection with a matte topcoat.
All of the polishes were this opaque in 2 coats. They dry really speedy and to a glossy finish but because of the flakies it can be a little bit uneven and some of them do stand up, little buggers, so I recommend 2 coats of Seche just to even it out and cover those sticky up ones. Even after 2 coats of the polish and 2 coats of topcoat, it doesn’t feel thick on the nail.
Removal is easy especially considering the glitters in there and make sure you are wearing a good base coat because the blue is a little bit stainy, I found this out only because I ran out of Nail Envy and wore it bare nail, but the pretty is so, so worth it, but wear base coat, don’t be like me!
So now that you’ve seen these beauties, pop over to the Facebook Polished By Leanne event page and hit that ‘Going’ button so that you can get notifications and updates and don’t miss out, I suspect these will sell like hotcakes. Polished by Leanne links below as usual!
Come back here tomorrow for some fun nail art using all of the polishes from the Out Of This World collection.
