Born Pretty Mandala S001 Stamping Plate

I had like zero sleep last night because they were doing evening road works right near my house and the heat has already been stopping me from sleeping well so that was fun. Then today there has been hedge cutting on both sides of my house, and because of my lack of sleep I am very noise sensitive, so that has been really getting to me. I am feeling a little bit fragile tbh, I have basically zombied my way through the day and am surprised I got this nail art done let alone this post too. So let me tell you about it.

This Mandala plate is from Born Pretty and it has some really pretty images on it, my favourite is the moth (even though I hate moths) so obviously I had to use it in this mani. I knew exactly the polish that I wanted to use for the base, Level Up Lacquer Temporal Flux, it’s pretty gorgeous. I wish my camera picked it up better but for some reason it just doesn’t like this shade of blue.

I used one of the smaller mandala images for the half moon kind of look, stamping with Moyou Black Knight and filling the image in with Danglefoot Nail Polish Gallifrey, then stamped. I used the same combination for the moths. Can you tell where I twitched? Twice! I topped it all off with a coat of Seche Vite.

And you can’t use a flakie for your base and not try it with a matte top coat? It definitely made me love it more. Matte topcoat used is Barry M.

The plate is etched perfectly and has no imperfections. The images picked up straight away, very crisp, on every type of stamper I have. There are 12 images on there, perfect for regular and reverse stamping and the images are a range of sizes.
