I hope you had an awesome Christmas! I bet you thought you had seen the last of Christmas mani’s for at least 11 months. Well, nope. I have loads of Christmas stamping plates that I have yet to get around to, so you’ll just have to put up with them for now!
Today I have the XL-030 plate from Beauty Big Bang which is full of cute and fun Christmas designs. There are 12 full nail designs and 4 smaller designs. Most of them are fab for layering and reverse stamping. The plate is etched perfectly and I got full image pickup no problem, with different kinds of stampers. I used a clear jelly stamper for my nail art today.
For this nail art I used a base of Moo Moo’s Signatures Dangerous Werewolves (This was a prize in a Nail Artisan raffle that I won and I will get round to swatching all of the polishes from this). I then stamped using the cute reindeer image and Barry M Cotton. Then I sealed with a coat of Seche Vite.
I really wanted to use the swirly Christmas tree image from the top left of the plate too, but wasn’t sure what to do with it.
I used a base of Barry M Blood Orange and Barry M Red Glitter on top of it. Then on my 3 middle fingers I stamped the swirly image using Barry M Cotton, and stamped over that with the same image using Barry M Spring Green. I really like how the double stamping turned out imperfect (because I couldn’t match the double stamped image up) I sealed it with a coat of Seche Vite.
You can find this plate here for £2.36/$2.99 and don’t forget that you can use code PLUS10 or 10% off your order.
Hope you are having a chilled out day! Are you doing anything for New Years Eve?
