I have an absolutely stunning new addition to the Barry M Nail Paints to show you today. This is the Barry m Fortune Teller Glaze topcoat. This is a pretty photo heavy post, you have been warned.
Fortune Teller is a clear topcoat, packed with iridescent and holographic shards an looks great on it’s own or over your favourite Nail Paint. It dries really fast and to a semi gloss finish.
The photos of it on it’s own show one coat with no topcoat. Although I do recommend wearing a nice and thick topcoat like Barry M Plumpy as some of the shards stick up a little, plus the topcoat brings out a little more sparkle.
I tried it over black and white (Barry M Cotton and Black Forest) and although it looks really pretty over white, it completely comes alive over black. These photos are 2 coats of the base colour, one coats of Fortune Teller and a coat of Plumpy Topcoat.
Fortune Teller is such a stunning topcoat, whether you wear just one coat or build it up to have almost full coverage.
And, I of course, had to test it out over one of my favourites of Barry M’s current polishes. Here is one coat of it over Siren, with a coat of Plumpy topcoat.
I really think that the darker or bolder a colour is, the more this topcoat comes alive.
The red really brings out the purple tones that are in here. Which, can alsoslightly tone down any yellow staining on your nails, if you are wearing it on it’s own.
Mattify it, and the iridescence still shines through, obviously best in sunshine or artificial light but in darker areas the iridescence still pokes it’s pretty little head out.
This is the sort of thing that Barry M does well, Polishes similar to indie polishes that no one else on the high street is doing. I may have been gushing a smidge about this polish, but it is gorgeous, perfect for summer and excellent value for money.
You can grab it now from BarryM.com or from Superdrug online and in-store for just £2.99!!! And if you get it from Superdrug they currently have a 3 for 2 offer on makeup.
Will you be grabbing this beauty?
