KBShimmer Totally Tubular

Totally Tubular without a topcoat
So the blog has been a bit swatchy lately, I will get back to doing some nail art pretty soon though.
I bought this KBShimmer polish a while back when I bought Stark Raven Mad but completely forgot about it until now.
Totally Tubular is a teal crelly polish packed full of glitter. The glitter is fuchsia, blue and aqua and comes in multi sized circles, hexes and bars.
The formula was great, the polish applied nicely with no dragging or patchiness and glitter placement was no problem at all. I used 2 coats of Totally Tubular and this did not take away from the glitter while still being opaque enough for full nail coverage.
I really like the finish of this without a topcoat, it kind of has a latex rubber look to it and although not completely smooth, there were no glitters sticking up, I felt the original finish gave it a more unique look.

Totally Tubular with one coat of Seche Vite Topcoat
With one coat of Seche Vite, it was still stunning and the glitters had more of a pop against the teal base.
Totally Tubular with one coat of OPI Matte topcoat

I also tried it with one coat of OPI Matte topcoat and again, I preferred this to the glossy look.
Totally Tubular Macro Shot
This polish is available from Harlow&Co for $9 not including postage.
Or if you are in United States you can get it directly from KBShimmer for $8.75.
Have you bought any of the polishes from Kbshimmer Autumn range? I’d love to see swatches of them.
:)x
