Every year since starting my blog, I have missed out on doing Halloween nails and every year it makes me sad 🙁 so this year I am starting the Halloween nails just a little early.
So my first Halloween nails are these simple Pumpkin/Jack O Lantern nails, done using these Pumpkin vinyl stencils from She Sells Seashells. The vinyls are fantastic quality and the postage was really speedy. I will definitely being using them again.
This is the first time I have used vinyl stencils and they are super easy, the faces didn’t come out perfectly because I, of course, put way too much polish on top of the stencil and pulled them off in a faffy way.
I also used BYS Glow in the Dark top coat to get these spooky faces.
I don’t recommend this glow in the dark topcoat though, I bought it a while ago and each time I have used it, it has been disappointing. The best way to charge it is with a UV torch, it takes ages to charge to a decent amount, and the charge only lasts about 5 mins.
So this was my first ever proper Halloween mani, I’ve got a few more planned out.
