Loot Crate: Heroes 2!

The July Loot Crate theme was Heroes 2! Yes, 2! This is Loot Crate’s first ever sequel and when I heard it was coming I nearly squeeeed everywhere. The Heroes Crate from last year is still hands down, one of the best crates ever, so how could anyone not be excited?
Well, Heroes 2 definitely did not disappoint, me anyway, lets see if you agree.

Wonder Woman Poster (DC Collectibles)
‘If anyone can get the job done, it’s Wonder Woman! As this World War II ‘Bomber’ art-style poster shows, she’s up to any challenge.’
I know it’s “just a poster” but this is definitely my favourite item from this months Loot Crate. I want all of the DC Bombshells as prints, now I have to find the perfect size frame for it because the poster is a bit of a weird size and I do no under any circumstances want to trim it down as has already been suggested. The poster is 9 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches, it is too short and wide for an A4 frame so I might have to look for an A3 frame and use a nice surround for the empty space. Have you framed yours? What size frame did you use? I need to know, I’m still trying to find a frame for the Han in Carbonite poster from a previous crate, I’m so rubbish at this stuff.

Legend of Zelda Sweatband (Bioworld)
‘Suit up for a battle with this lack terrycloth wristband that features an embroidered Triforce emblem’
I like this and the bonus is that it’s black, so it will go with everything.

Batman Multi-Tool Keychain (Paladone)
‘The Dark Knight would never dream of leaving the Batcave without this indispensable gadget, and neither will you. Not only does it look really cool, but it also includes Phillips and flathead screwdrivers and a bottle opener too!’
You can never, ever, EVER, go wrong with a Batman item nor can you go wrong with a Batman item that attaches to your keys and is with you at all times, and it has screwdrivers? Oh, I’m sold on this one, the bottle opener has no use for me, I don’t drink alcohol anymore and nothing else I drink comes in the type of bottle that would need a bottle opener, but that doesn’t matter because nananananana nananananana BATMAN!!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE The League of Regrettable Superheroes (Quirk Books)
‘This special Loot Crate edition features some of our favourite comic book superheroes you’ve ever met! Spanning the Golden, Silver and Modern ages of comics, you’ll be introduced to 50 of the strangest superheroes ever to see print.’
This book is awesome and stunning, look at that beautiful artwork. This is one of those books that you can read and then keep going back to it. It will be a fantastic addition to our bookshelf!

EXCLUSIVE TV Series Batman Q-Pop Figure (Quantum Mechanix)
‘Perched atop a skyscraping gargoyle, our throwback Caped Crusader, inspired by the classic ’60s TV show, is poised for crime-fightin’ action.’

I adore this figure, I’m stuck on whether I want to keep it in the box or whether I want to display it on my desk, of course I had to take it out of the box to get some good photos of it. The bit at the back with Kapow on is actually a little mini memo whiteboard, the Kapow is just a protective sticker that you are supposed to peel off but I couldn’t help adding the little +10 for the photos.
The figure has equal parts adorable and awesome. Would  you keep it in the box or display it?

EXCLUSIVE Brawhalla Download Card (Blue Mammoth Games)
‘Brawl with the best of ’em using these exclusive skins, weapons and characters from the epic battle game!’
I haven’t played this game, yet, it is currently in a closed beta but you can sign up to show your interest at brawlhalla.com, and they send codes to people on the list frequently during the beta. I signed up while writing this, it looks fun, very similar to Super Smash Bros, so if you’re into that or similar brawlers then it might be worth signing up just to try it out.

Star Trek Auto Air Freshener (Plasticolor)

‘Live long, proper and smell great while doing it! hang it from the rear view mirror of your car or spacecraft and you’ll enjoy the fresh scent of vanilla for months to come.’
You know what this is? This is a reminder that I am incapable of doing the Vulcan Salute, my pinkie finger does this whole thing where it refuses to join in with the rest of the fingers and strays off, out into the open, away from my ring finger, it does it on both hands, the only way I can get it to do it is by taping or tying them together. I am constantly remind of this fact by Jim and Ki, because they can do it perfectly, without any effort.

Heroes 2 Pin Badge (Loot Crate Labs)
‘Switch on the Loot Signal! This month’s button is perfect for pinning to any shirt, backpack or cherished Loot Crate button collection that needs a watchful protector, silent guardian or dark knight.’
This month’s badge is perfect, this is probably my favourite badge of all of the Loot Crate badges.

Oh and look at the box art for this month, the box folded out and round to form an apartment building. Have they stopped putting the Konami code in the boxes? I looked for ages and couldn’t find it anywhere and I realised that I can’t remember the last box I saw it on.
Anyway, that was the Heroes 2 crate, wasn’t it awesome? To make it even more awesome, the next crate is another sequel, Villains 2! The original Villains crate was another awesome one so I recommend signing up now if you haven’t already so you don’t miss out on it, things can only get more awesome! So go here to sign up now!!!!!
:)x
