KBShimmer You Go Ghoul Swatches and Halloween Nail Art

Here is another one of those KBShimmer beauties I bought from Harlow&Co. This one is You Go Ghoul, it’s a sort of black jelly base packed with purple, pink and orange glitters in different shapes and sizes and it is absolutely perfect for this time of year.

It took 3 coats for it to be this opaque but the layers and depth ti has is absolutely stunning. It was fairly fast to dry although did take longer with each coat. It dried nice and shiny and was almost smooth and level bar a few little pieces of glitter sitting slight out of the surface so I did you a coat of Seche Vite.
The glitters are holographic too, so in the sunlight (if you can find some) you get these little flashes which really pop against the black and look absolutely stunning.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you might know that I love adding a matte topcoat to these packed glitter polishes, nothing looks as pretty with a matte topcoat as a packed glitter polish.

Look at that! LOOK AT IT! Isn’t it just perfect?
Then I realised that PT Young Thing stamped perfectly and held it’s holo greatness and I remembered that I had some little spider charms that I had bought from Born Pretty last year and not used, so I did this…

…the holo in PT Young Thing is just perfect for glistening spider webs and all of it combined is perfect for Halloween nails. Perfect holo glitter on the thumb!

The spider charms don’t have a flat underside so it was a pain in the ass to attach to the nails and I don’t think it would have held on very long had I actually been active but it still looked pretty cool.
I have no idea what other Halloweenie nails to do this year, what nail art are you going to be doing?
:)x
