NOTD: Nearly Nude

A simple NOTD for today.

For quite some time, I have been looking for a really good nude-ish polish that I really liked. Then I bought More! magazine when it came with a free Models Own nail polish, I opted for the Nude Beige. Models own polishes are normally £5 and the magazine was £1.50 so it was a bargain. Being the complete tool that I am, I forgot to post about it here at the time of getting it.

Anyway, its a really nice colour and it applied perfectly. It was opaque in 2 coats, although in certain lights, you could still see my nail line so I added another coat just to satisfy my OCD.

I also used Barry M Diamond Glitter on my thumb and ring finger. This is part of the Barry M Jewel Glitters collection and is absolutely gorgeous. It is a clear base and has 4 different sizes of hex glitter, and best of all, the glitter is holographic. I am completely obsessed with this glitter at the moment and have been adding it to as many of my mani’s as possible.

I did try to catch the holographic glitter in all its glory, but as you can see above, this was a bit of a fail without the ever absent sun. It is lush though, honest.
I have taken pictures from a few different angles to show you how the colour can change in the light, sometimes it looks nude and other times it looks like a coffee colour.

Well that’s my first time with a nudey polish. What is your favourite nude polish?

:)x
