Candy Cane crush is a glitter topper with a mix of red and white hex glitters in loads of different sizes, all suspended in a clear base.
Like KBShimmer Grayscale, the glitter comes out on the brush quite generously and this makes it easy to get fantastic coverage with only one coat.
Over Black, the red and white really stand out, it kind of makes me wish I had done an Umbrella Corporation logo on one of my nails.
When I purchased this polish, I must have just seen the picture and added it to the basket, I must not have read any of the item description, because, for about an hour after applying it, I thought someone in my house was eating really strong mint chocolate or something along those lines, then it suddenly dawned on me that the smell was coming from my nails.
Candy Cane Crush is scented with a Vanilla Peppermint fragrance, it is quite strong but quite delicious and faded only slightly the longer I had it on, cue me, sniffing my nails like a crazy for the next couple of days.
It’s fairly acceptable to have this much of an urge to nom a nail polish right?
Of course, the next thing to try with it was a matte topcoat, and of course, it is gorgeous. I must admit though, I do prefer this one with the glossy look.
