I’ve seen loads of people do really pretty nail art with the triangles and I wanted to give a go myself. These triangles are from Lady Queen and although I originally thought they were like the thin metal slice embellishments, they are actually closer to studs, they’re quite sturdy.
This particular style of triangles came in a pack of 20 and have a yellow gold colour and I instantly wanted a nice green negative space mani.
I went for Barry M Cancun, which my camera proper hates and is actually a little bit greener and I used vinyls to do the negative space stripes.
This is one of my favourite mani’s of the year so far. I stamped on ‘Be Yourself’ from part of a design on from the Moyou Scholar 02 plate and I think it really pulled it all together.
I did add 2 coats of Seche, mainly because on some nails, I could still feel the corners of the studs and they would likely snag on stuff.
You can find these studs here for £1.28/$1.99 and don’t forget to use my code LGGT15 for 15% off your basket amount.
I should hopefully be caught up on review stuff and swatches soon and fingers crossed there will be some nerdy nails soon. How has your start to 2016 been?
