Ok, so at the point of writing, we still have 8 hours and 40 minutes left until we leave 2018 and enter 2019 but I already have my NYE nails done. I’m not going anywhere, and I might not make it consciously to midnight, but at least I know my nails are pretty entering into 2019.
When I spotted this firework design on the Beauty Big Bang XL-032 stamping I knew pretty much what I wanted to use it for.
The plate has 11 full nail images and 5 smaller ones and all are etched perfectly. I had no problems with pick up on any kind of stamper.
On my middle nails I did a gradient base of Barry M Plum, Barry M Blue Grape and Barry M Crystal Blue, which made an absolute beaut of a gradient and is one I might have to use again for a different mani. Then I stamped the image, but in 2 piece. First I only covered the people at the bottom of the image, using Moyou Black Knight. Then I did just the fireworks in the image using Beauty Big Bang Gold stamping polish. I really love how it looks.
The for my other nails I did a base of Barry M Black Forest and sponged on a gradient of Barry M Majestic Sparkle, which is supposed to be the embers of the fireworks raining down. For the numbers I used Moyou Typography 04 and the Beauty Big Bang Gold stamping polish.
