Barry M Crackle Effect Nail Paint

Bit of a late one today but I wanted to get this one posted up before Christmas. Barry M very kindly sent me a bottle of their new throwback polish the Crackle Effect Nail Paint.

Who of you remember the crackle fad? I’ll be honest, I didn’t ever really get into it last time but I have seen a couple of companies bringing it back and I was kind of excited to give this one a try. One of the reasons I didn’t really get on with the old versions of crackles is because I could never get them to “crackle” properly, I just put it down to my hands being permanently ice cold. But this one worked instantly, it’s quite fun to watch actually. I took a little timelapse of my pinkie transforming and that will be on my Instagram in a little while.

It has a really nice formula and you only need one smooth and swift coat over dry polish for it to do it’s thing. The above photo is it over KBShimmer You Go Ghoul with no topcoat.

But I had to try it with a coat of Plumpy topcoat…

…and a coat off the Barry M Matte topcoat. Honestly, even though it goes very sparkly with Plumpy, I’m proper feeling it with a matte top coat and I’m glad I tried it over a crelly.

The Crackle Effect nail paint is exclusive to barrym.com for £3.99 and for a limited time only, go grab it while you can!

:)x
