I am actually really loving having short nails at the moment and I am tempted to keep them short for a while but I haven’t decided yet. While they are short I am still going to try and bust out the huge review pile I have going on. So up today is this pretty stamping polish from Born Pretty.
This is Flaming Fireworks from the Holographic Stamping Polish range.
I tried to add a bit of Christmassy nail art but may have failed a little bit here.
Used as a standard polish, Flaming Fireworks is a beautiful, red, holographic stamping polish with a strong holo rainbow. It was opaque in 2 coats and each coat dried really quickly. The formula was great and applied really nicely.
Stamped over white and other light colours, Flaming Fireworks stamps a little more pink than red but it is super pretty and still has a pretty strong holo showing.
Over black and other dark colours, I was a little disappointed in it. It didn’t stamp red at all although the prominent colour in the holo rainbow was red, which is still very pretty but I was hoping it would be a stronger colour over black especially based on the image on the product page and with how well Born Pretty have done with stamping polishes in the past.
It does stamp very easily though and picks up full images and stamps to the nail easily and nicely.
I would definitely still recommend this polish if you are in the market for a really pretty and strong holographic red, you can find it here for £4.53/$5.99.
Don’t forget that you can use code CBAQ10 for 10% off all non sale items over at Born Pretty Store.
