Anyone else super struggling this week already? Not only is it summer holidays, so there is lots of noise but it’s also bloody boiling! And it’s meant to get hotter!!! Did you see the Amber Warning that Met Office released saying stay indoors until Friday? I am definitely not looking forward to the next few days. So I thought I would push myself a bit to get something done today, just in case the rest of the week is a write off. And let me tell you, it’s not pretty, I am sweating like crazy, tremoring like mad and I can’t quite see out of my left eye.
But, today I have this gorge Gold stamping polish from Beauty Big Bang to show you.
This polish is super pigmented, so it stamps great over any colour, including white. It’s a yellow-gold so it’s very bold over any colour. When over white, it kind of gets a duo-chrome look to it with a little hint of bronze coming through. It also looks great as a standard polish and because it is so pigmented, you only need one thin coat! It picks up really well and stamps to the nail really well, getting a near perfect/perfect stamp every time. Also, bonus, it doesn’t have a strong smell.
This polish is easy to remove but clean up can be a bit of a pain because the pigment spreads, almost like glitter and gets everywhere. Comes off with normal soap or handwash though so not too bad.
I was kind of trying to go for an art deco look with the nail art and used an image from Beauty Big Bang BBBXL-004. The black is Polished By Leanne The Unknown and the white is Barry M Cotton, all topped with a coat of Seche Vite.

Oh, and remember not to take or leave puppers and kittehs and all other types of babies, out in the sun and make sure they have plenty of cool water. And remember, anything over 21celsius is way too hot to take a dog for a walk safely if you have to walk on tarmac or concrete and may not even be a good idea for grass.
