After the debacle of the limited edition Geek and Sundry crate from Nerd block, I was doubting my Aliens Loot Crate purchase, I mean, I had high hopes for it because it was Loot Crate and Loot Crate very, very rarely let me down, did they this time though. The short answer is NO, Although none of this crate is for me, it’s Jim’s :(, I was quite impressed with the items in it and at no point did I feel that I had wasted my money.
To start, the above photo is the magazine/leaflet that has the items listed, there are no items descriptions so I’m gonna be winging it a bit, but lets have a look at the items.
Aliens 30th Anniversary Edition Hardcover (Dark Horse)
This is a fantastic looking hardcover of the original comic book series. Here is the blurb from the back of the book:

The book is absolutely beautiful, with it’s pretty blue gilded pages and the awesome print, it’s a fantastic book for anyone’s collection.

Bug Stomper T-shirt
I’m not sure who makes this tee because i doesn’t say on the label or in the booklet and weirdly, the t-shirt shown in the booklet is different to the one we received.
The t-shirt we did receive is a perfect fit, is a good quality t-shirt with a good quality print that has a distressed look to it.
Aliens Eggs 4 pack
Again, it doesn’t say who makes these but they are pretty awesome. The box look great and the label has a really cool print on it. No, we have not peeled for more info!
Inside the box, you get 2 closed eggs and 2 open eggs with 2 facehuggers that are kind of poseable. These are supposed to glow in the dark, I haven’t actually tried that yet to see if they do but rest assured that I will soon.
Aliens 6.5″ Xenomorph Variant Figure (Titans Vinyl Figures)
I was really surprised at how big this figure is, when you think 6.5 inches, you really don’t think that is that big, but it’s definitely a good size. This is also supposed to be a glow in the dark figure, I haven’t checked to see if it does yet. I know, I suck, but I will definitely try it.
Aliens Metal Print
This is awesome, it looks badass and it really does look like the light is bouncing off it. it’s quite flimsy and so handling it a lot can end up with little dents, it does come with a proper clear acrylic stand to set it up on and it looks great.
The box was hug and a weird shape which I thought was to accomodate all the items at first, turns out that if you fold it inside out, it turns into an Aliens APC with additional cardboard pieces to make the gun turret on top. It’s pretty awesome.
Another thing to note with this Loot Crate is that it came by Yodel or Hermes, not sure which one but UK peeps, you will know what I mean. My point is, that it didn’t come by Royal Mail and we didn’t have to pay any customs on it. Not sure if this was something Loot Crate had initiated themselves or if it will be the same for every limited edition crate but it was a fairly happy moment and it ended up costing us less money than we had planned for it. Good times.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this crate, we paid £51.99 including postage and postage to the UK is quite a hefty chunk of that so the actual crate cost is a fair bit lower than that. I would say that I am not sure I would buy a limited edition crate again but they announced a Ghostbusters one the other day and I adore Ghostbusters so you know I gotsta buy that.

Hello, nice lot! The t-shirt logo was created by the artist conceptual designer Alien and Aliens movies Rob Coob, you can see that logo in the nose of "cheyenne" dropschip in Aliens.
