Born Pretty Store Stamper Review

So I did this stamper comparison post almost a year ago now and the Konad came out on top of the 3 that I compared, but even though it was better than the others, it wasn’t without it’s flaws. It doesn’t always pick up the whole design, especially if it is super fine details. Not to mention that I am flawed  in stamping myself because I seem to have a complete incapability to stamp straight, my stamping is always wonky not matter how I line it up. So I am still always on the lookout for other stampers that may be able to take the place of the Konad.
My newest try is this Born Pretty Store rectangular stamper. The stamper feels quite firm when you push your finger onto it straight from the packet and I thought that this might be similar to the one I got from ebay where it would be too firm to pick up the design, but when you use it on the stamping plate and the nail it seems to magically take on a really squishy form. It moulds and bulges into the designs on the stamping plate and moulds completely around the nail when applying the design.
It picked up about 99% of the design as you can see in the photo and when applying the design onto my nail I just had to press down once, I didn’t have to wriggle it from side to side or anything like that and the design covered my nail, and that is saying something because I have pretty curved nails.

And the best thing is that I managed to apply the designs pretty much straight because of the shape of the stamper. It’s a bit skewiff here and there but compared to some of my stamping this is perfect.

The handle is easy to hold because of it’s size and shape and was easy enough for me to get a good grip on when stamping to my nail. I don’t use the scrapers that come with any of the stampers because I find that the metal ones scratch the plates.
Here is a close up of the stamped designs. I stamped using Moyou Pro Collection 05 plate and in trying to keep with the current season, I thought these little presents would make for some adorable Christmas themed nail art. From left to right I stamped using polishes Konad Black Stamping Polish, Barry M silver Foil and MeMeMe Cosmetics Elegant.
Polishes used for bases colours were from the Barry M Glitterati collection in Catwalk Queen, Fashion Icon and Rockstar. I used OPI cream in my Coffee for my thumb and pinkie.
I am super impressed with this stamper, it just beats out the Konad stamper as my favourite because of the ability to stamp straight with it and I really recommend trying it for anyone who has the same problem.
You can buy this stamper from Born Pretty here for £2.38
