Born Pretty Cute Cat Water Decals

Helllooooooo, I have been somewhat invisamible for a while now, as always, every time I disappear it is because of my condition. It has been quite a while this time, and I’m feeling slightly better so I’m slowly trying to catch up on things that have been pushed aside recently. On a bright note with regards to my little hiatus and health condition, during the hiatus, I have had quite a few tests and there is an illness that is looking more likely than ever before, I’m not going to mention what it is in case I jinx it, but hopefully, with a few more definitive tests that should be happening soon, I should know exactly what is wrong with me and will be better equipped to manage it. So YAY.
Back to today’s actual post now, I’ll be honest, its not some of my best, and my hands and cuticles are really dry because I honestly didn’t look after them at all during this time but these Born Pretty Store decals are so cute, I just wanted to get them on my nails.
You might notice straight away that some, if not all of these kitties are from popular media, the most notable (well, to me anyway) is Toro Inoue/Sony cat.
This cat (below) however, has been driving me insane for ages now.
I recognise it, and I’m sure it is from a cartoon from way back when, but for the life of me, I just can’t pinpoint it. I’ve searched all the cartoons I can think of from back in the day and still not found it. If anyone can tell me who it is or what they are from, I will love you forever.
On the decal sheet, you have 10 different characters, you get 2 of each characters, one facing left and one facing right. You also get 2 sets of paw prints and 2 fish bones. Giving you enough ammo to make a cute and busy mani or some focused nail art.
I decided to use just one character, I don’t know what he is from either but he looked super cute.
I used a base or Barry M Matt White, on my middle finger I added this cute little guy and a fish bone and on my ring finger a paw print trail. On my other fingers I used OPI Emotions and attempted to do a little paw print at the top of each nail using OPI Its frosty outside.
One thing to mention about these decals is that they are basically pre-cut to size, you can see in the picture above what looks like a thick white section, this is the decal. While this can be a bit fiddly on smaller decals, it actually really helps in the end. The pre-cut means you don’t have to cut it to size yourself and you also wont get any of those unsightly visible edges once the top coat has been applied.

They are very easy to apply and I had no curling, even when applying Seche Vite straight over it.
You can get these Cute Kitty Decals from Born Pretty here for $2.29 (about £1.34) and don’t forget, to use my discount code CBAQ10 at checkout for 10% off your entire Born Pretty order, oh and it’s free delivery to anywhere in the world.
