Yes, yes, I know, it’s nearly time for the February crate so I’m a little late on my Inspired by January Loot Crate nails, but in fairness, my crate did turn up relatively late.
The item I chose for inspiration from the Rewind crate was this Black Tie Geek Retro Arcade tie. The last time we received a Black Tie Geek item was the Catbug bowtie in our very first Loot Crate. That was also the first time for the isnpired by Loot Crate nails and I ended up with these adorable Catbug nails. Naturally I had to choose the Black Tie Geek item again this time.
These nails are very simple and can easily be done providing you have black and white polish and anything that even remotely resembles a dotting tool.
The polishes I used were Barry M Black and Barry M Matt White.
And because the chalky look is cute, here it is with a coat of OPI Matte Topcoat.
This also kind of reminds me a little of the Star Wars retro arcade nails inspired by the Star Wars magnet from Loot Crate Galactic.
