A new UK indie has sprung up recently! I say recently but it was about a month ago I am just slow af at the moment. But you definitely need to know about Elune Nail Polish, which is run by the lovely Emily. All the polishes are 10 free, cruelty free and vegan and are all named after female characters from across the fandom board. Once I saw the beautiful and slightly nerdy polishes I knew I had to own some of them, so I bought 2 to start off with and that’s what I am showing you today.
First up is Alixus, a pretty white crelly packed with red and gold glitters and gold flakies.
It has a beaut of a formula and applies lush, it took 2 coats to be this opaque and dried smooth despite the glitters and to a glossy finish. It was easy to clean up and remove. Photo shows 2 coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
It also looks gorgeous with a matte topcoat, I do love a matte, glitter crelly. Matte topcoat used was Barry M.
Sadly this was a limited edition polish for the launch of Elune and seems to have sold out now.
Next up is Tahlia, which luckily is still available to buy, because look how beautiful this polish is.
Tahlia is a multichrome shifting through blues, teals, greens and purples and packed with a scattered holo and some shifty glitters too. It is perfect in 3 coats, which is what I have used in the photos, topped with a coat of Seche Vite.
Of course, this one also looks perfect with a matte topcoat.
This polish and more is available over on the Elune shop and there are new polishes releasing on 13th May so pop on over to the social media of your choice and give Emily a follow to stay in the know about updates. All links below.
