Today I have the Geometry L001 plate from Born Pretty Store to show you. Whenever I see these plates, I instantly think of the 90s and more specifically, the intros to loads of 90s tv shows, and so my nail art using these plates, always ends up being something very reminiscent of the 90s. Which I am definitely not complaining about, you know I love me some 90s aesthetics and I wish my all day, every day could be 90s everything.
What do you think of when you see these plate types?
This plate has 59 individual images that can be double stamped or paired with a few of the other images, so you can build up a unique design. Some of them are dot work, scribbles, geometric patterns or solid images but they all kind of work together in a fun way.
The images are etched perfectly meaning that I got an even pickup on both ends of the scale, the solid images and thin/small details. I was very impressed with the pick up from this plate. My plate had no imperfections.
I tried to make mine as colourful as possible and wanted the colours of stamping to stand out against the background, which is why I went for a plain white base and then I used the new Gelly Nail Paints from Barry M for the stamping.
