I was also lucky to receive one of the new, Uberchic releases from Alex at Nail Artisan. She very kindly sent me the Take Me Out to the BallGame mini plate. Now, I honestly have no clue in the slightest about anything to do with baseball, but this plate is the cutest! If I was a fan of baseball, it would definitely be on my wishlist.
This plate has 7 full nail images and 33 small images, some make up layered stamping, some perfect for reverse stamping and some are pretty good for double stamping. It is etched perfectly and has no imperfections, I got fantastic pickup every time.
I started with a base of Barry M Cotton on all but my pinkie which is Barry M Spring Green. I used 3 of the full nail images, a couple of the layered stamps and did some reverse stamping just to try it from all bases. I realise I probably should have done a sandy colour in the home plate? But by the time I realised it was too late.
I really love how this mani, it’s so cute. My thumb is my favourite nail of the whole mani.
