Born Pretty Cat Eye Gel in Leo and Circle Magnet stick

dislcosure

I love magnetic polishes, especially gels as they hold the magnetised bits much better, but I am absolutely terrible at doing anything other than the cat eye line. Anywhoo, I still try them and love them, so today I have a beautiful Cat Eye gel to show you from Born Pretty and a circle magnet to go with it.

Admittedly I have no idea how to use or get the circle magnet to work, so if anyone has an idea, let me in on the secret. The bottle of polish is a 6ml bottle, so you can get a good few manis out of it.

As you can see, I tried to do a half moon style magnetic effect on my thumb, index and pinkie using the circle magnet but it hasn’t worked as well as I had hoped and I am nowhere near the double circle type effect I see on the Born pretty website and other users.

But I also did a cat eye on my middle and ring fingers and that came out beautifully. The formula was as you have come to expect with Born Pretty polishes, pretty decent and cures in the normal time too. It is super shifty in non-magnetised and magnetised states and I love the shift between the reds, oranges and yellows, so pretty.

I topped it off with a coat of Kiki London No Wipe Gel Topcoat which brought out the sparkle even more.

You can find the Cat Eye Gel on the Born Pretty website here for £4.53/$5.99 and it has 7 other colours to choose from, although at time of writing, Leo and 3 others are sold out. And you can find the circle magnet stick here for £1.20/$1.59. Don’t forget to use code CBAQ10 to get 10% off all your Born Pretty orders.

Hope you are having an awesome day

:)x
