I know, I know. I’m blamming them out today. It’s not an intentional annoyance. I just wanted to get the swatches of the newest polishes done and out onto the t’interwebs.
This is my first matte polish. I really wanted to try a matte as I think they look really good, so I went on eBay and searched for the cheapest one I could find just in case I didn’t take to it, which happened to be this. It is a brand I had never heard of before and it came from Hong Kong. I have been waiting for this bad boy for nearly a month now. I also wanted it so I could try the shiny on matte designs. No, I haven’t quite got round to that yet, but yes, I have done some swatches.
The colour came out beautifully, I do love a good purple in nail polishes.
I applied some topcoat on the pinkie nail (on the far left) to see what the difference would be like as it didn’t seem like it would be much. But as you can see, there is quite a difference. The colour is still stunning but I do much prefer it in matte.
I’m definitely going to be buying more matte polishes in the future. I also think this colour would go quite well with W7 Mosaic (here). Don’t you think they would set each other off perfectly?
