Born Pretty Fluorescent/Neon Water Decals

After using the Born Pretty Store Fluorescent studs to do my Tetrish! mani, I’ve kind of developed a little bit of a fascination with the fluorescent stuff on the Born Pretty Store.
So today I have these fluorescent water decals. This massive sheet of decals contains 11 sets. For each set, the number of decals you get varies due to sizes of the decals, but each set has at least 30 decals, all of them with glowy goodness. It is all on one sheet but I have split it into 2 photos so you can see the sets a bit better.
The paint splatters really stood out for me, I instantly had a mani in mind for them.
I started with a base of Barry M Matt White and on my thumb I used OPI San-Tan-Tonio to do the shape of a painters palette, which I outlined using Barry M Black Nail Art Pen.
I then used 17 of the paint splatter decals.
The decals were fantastic. They are all individually cut and shaped (most of the Born Pretty Decals seem to be now), after a few seconds in the water, the decals slid off easily, they did not crumple or fold, and placed easily and flat.
With the colours being so vibrant I fully expected the colours to run after they had been in the water, nope, they were perfect and the colours did not wash out either.
The decals on my thumb didn’t stand out as well as those on the white base but they are still visible over darker colours, they just don’t look neon. Until you shine a UV light over them that is.
Here are the nails with the UV torch shining directly onto them, it kind of looks a little bit like fireworks, or some kind of glowing sea creature. It looks so awesome.

This is how they look in just the sort of side glow of the UV torch.
This massive sheet of decals is available here for £3.65 ($5.97), these would make for some fantastic, glowy Halloween nail art.
Don’t forget, you can also get 10% off your entire order by using my code CBAQ10 at checkout and it is free postage anywhere in the world, if you are looking to get some Halloween goodies order soon to get them on time, check out the awesome Halloween section here.
