Danglefoot Nail Polish Grab bag

I have never bought a grab bag of polishes before as far as I can remember (and let’s face it, I forget what happened yesterday so that might not be the case, don’t quote me on it) and when I had the opportunity to buy one from Hayley at Danglefoot Nail Polish, I snapped it up. Hayley asked me what type of polishes I would like, my only specification was that I would like Glass of Fizz (the pink one) and then to surprise me with the rest. These were the beauties that arrived, the choices she made were spot on. Let’s have a closer look.

Nice Undies
Nice Undies is a phenomenal holo nude with what I am fairly certain are tiny silver flakes.

This nude is perfection! And holo! And… and… my god, I just can’t stop staring at it. It applied beautifully and only needed 2 coats to be opaque. It dried quickly and to a smooth finish. This is with 1 coat of Seche.
Glass of Fizz
Glass of Fizz is a gorgeous pink holo.

I’ve seen other peoples swatches of Glass of Fizz and they look more like a dusty pink than mine does, mine seems much brighter, not just in photos but actually in the bottle and on the nail. Not that it matters, I friggin’ love it. The holo is very strong, it looks incredible in sunlight (when we get it) but it also has a pop in normal, dull lighting. This is 2 coats with 1 coat of Seche. On it’s own, it dried very quickly and had a sandy, textured finish.
Geek Out
Geek Out is a gorgeous, almost neon-ish blue with silver flakes.

My squee almost fell out when I saw the polish was called Geek Out, so not only is the polish stunning but it has an awesome name. It is a tiny bit sheer and so it did take 3 coats to get this level of opacity and you can still see the nail line ever so slightly. It dried quickly and to a smooth finish and I topped with 1 coat of Seche.

Rock On
Rock On is a beautiful, and I mean beautiful, black flakie! I really mean it, my photo’s are not doing it justice, for some reason my photo’s just made it look lumpy, it’s really not!

It took 2 coats for this and 2 coats of Seche because it does need to be smoothed out a little and with the topcoat you can really see the flakies peeking out.
I also tried it with a matte topcoat because something told me it would be a good idea and it really was, just look at it.

I thought maybe the flakies would disappear but they absolutely did not and you can tell that it’s not lumpy 🙂
I honestly thought Geek Out would be my favourite of the bunch but Glass of Fizz did things to me, they all knock it out park but Glass of Fizz, om, nom, oooh, mmmmm, sorry, sorry, I’m just going to take a minute! I’m good, I’m good. haha, that got a bit weird didn’t it? *ahem*
I have got more Danglies in my desk pile which will be coming soon, so be on the lookout and don’t forget to check out Hayley’s other beauties on her Etsy store here.
