The September Loot Crate theme is ROBOTIC, where we get acquainted with the androids and automatons throughout the ages and the known universe.
Let’s have a look and see what you think, I honestly don’t think it’s a bad lot this month.
EXCLUSIVE Blade Runner 2049 T-Shirt (Licensed by Alcon Entertainment. Designed by Loot Crate)
‘I am Loot bot 3000 and will be your tour guide. After the tour, you will be granted a copy of this shirt. Wallace Corp has provided much for the world and such a technologically advanced organisation deserves more than a simple tee. This Blade Runner 2049 design also glows in the dark! Fair warning: it may be slightly distracting if you wear it to the movie.’
This t-shirt is pretty great in design and the logo glows in the dark. Part of my logo was ruined because it was stuck together on the top left and when I pulled it apart it ripped little chunks out of it but luckily it hasn’t made it unwearable. The t-shirt itself is good quality however it seems like the sizing inconsistency is back and this tee is a little bit too small for my liking.
Star Wars R2-D2 IncrediBuild (Licensed by Lucasfilm, Made by Insight Editions)
‘In the past, many humans liked to build things from organic materials, particularly scaled, representational models of fictional characters that bring joy. We have provided you this excellent opportunity to experience that exhilaration with this IncrediBuild R2-D2 kit. Once your model is complete, customer paint it for an opportunity to win a prize package from IncrediBuild!’
This is pretty cool, we haven’t built it yet, that’ll be one of our relaxing weekend evening tasks, but it’s definitely cool.
EXCLUSIVE Star Trek: The Next Generation Mirror Universe Comic (Licensed by CBS. Made by IDW)
‘As we explore the history of synthetic lifeforms, in this and every dimension, we offer this special publication to help expand your knowledge. Written by Scott Tipton and David Tipton with cover art by J.K. Woodward and interior art by Josh Hood, discover the origin of the Mirror Universe of Data! Working closely with IDW, this 100% original story is only available from Loot Crate’
Comics are always welcome and I am not gonna say no to a 100% exclusive storyline, so that’s pretty awesome.
EXCLUSIVE Aliens “Queen takes Bishop” Mini Figure (Licensed by FOX. Designed by Loot Crate)
‘We hope you have enjoyed your tour. We leave you with this monument to human/ robotic cooperation. Recreating one of the key moments from the Classic Aliens, this figure represents the first of a new collaboration series between Loot Crate and Phat Mojo! There is some assembly required (just like with Bishop after this) but you’ll be able to display this proudly in no time at all.’
I absolutely love this figure, unfortunately, Jim loves the whole Aliens series way more than I do so he has pinched it. It’s a good quality mini figure and you can’t even tell that it has been “built”! I can’t wait to see what else comes from this collaboration.
Robotic Pin (Designed by Loot Crate)
‘Loot Bot is very heavy and hard to carry around. But now it’s much easier to take Loot Bot with you everywhere with this adorable pin!’
Oh my god! This month’s pin is super cute, look at his little eyes! The free bonus, digital loot was a Ghost in the Shell comic book.
I forgot to take a proper photo of it but in the Alien figure photo you can see part of what looks like a cereal box, that’s this month’s box, it turns into a Cog Crispies cereal box and is also super cute!
So what did you think of this month’s crate? If it made you want to sign up, then pop over here to do so and get $5 off your first month.
