Widowmaker Here!

I have had this beauty sat on my desk for quite a while now and while I have worn it a few times, I haven’t actually posted it on the blog because I couldn’t quite get it right. I had tried looks very similar to this but with different colours for the nail art but they didn’t show up very well in any of the photo’s I took. This time, I tested a few different colours and then decided white was perfect.

Widowmaker Here is part of the Level Up Lacquer Overwatch Collection and is inspired by the character Widowmaker. It is a royal purple crelly packed with red, pink and purple glitter. It was perfect in 2 coats and has a great formula. Even though it has been sat on my desk for a fair amount of time, there has been no glitter sinkage, no separation and no colour bleed from the glitters. Oh and did I mention before that Level Up Lacquer is 5 free?!

On my thumb I tried to fit the name of the polish (which is also one of Widowmaker’s most common phrases), onto my thumb. It didn’t go incredibly well and my tiny writing is still a work in progress but I am actually quite happy with how it turned out.
I used Barry M Cotton for the nail art and topped it all off with 2 coats of Seche to get the best level of smoothness over the nail, because of the glitters it is a teeny bit topcoat thirsty.

Of course, being a glitter crelly, I needed to test it with a matte topcoat and it looks bloody gorgeous! I knew it would. You could also wear Widowmaker Here without any topcoat because on it’s own it looks like a lush, textured, glitter packed polish and it works really well.
Level Up Lacquer has loads of other beautiful polishes on the shop so I recommend popping over to check them out, and the best thing is that they are all inspired by fandoms.
We’ve made it through the midweek, just 2 more days until the weekend, wooooo!
