I am mildly obsessed with Zoya Pixie Dusts, well, as obsessed as my bank account lets me be, which is a lot less than I would like but here we are. As far as textured polishes go, most of the Pixie Dusts are pretty perfect and the other week, as it is coming up to Christmas (yes! I said the ‘C’ word) I wanted a sparkly, green, textured polish. I popped over to Nail Polish Direct, having never realised before that they sell Zoya’s but then to also notice that they were (at the time) having a sale on them and I grabbed Elphie and one other, which you’ll see on the blog soon.
Elphie is a gorgeous, emerald green with a green sparkle and is from the 2016 Enchanted Holiday Collection from what I can find. It has a great formula and applied beautifully, it was perfect in 2 coats. It dries quickly and on the first coat it an take a little while for the texture to be prominent but it does fix itself eventually. It has fantastic wear and got a lot of compliments.
As with all and any textured polishes, when it finally comes time to take them off it is definitely tough, you get a good workout from it but if you wear textured polishes often then you know what you are getting yourself in for, plus the removal doesn’t negate the fact that this polish is all the pretty!
Nail Polish Direct have pretty much got their Pixie Dust side of things covered if you fancy any and there are pretty well priced, there are a few I have my eye on still. How do you feel about textured polishes?
We’re close to the middle of the week, we can do it, I know it’s one of those weird weeks but you got this!
