I have had these Nicole Diary gel pots for ages and I am so glad that I finally got round to using them! I started this week with a renewed vigour and I hope it lasts because I am actually getting round to doing stuff today, hopefully some nail art will be around soon.
These are the Nicole Diary Sequins Gel pots from Born Pretty Store. There are actually 36 different colours in this range, but today I am going to show you 5 of them. So let’s have a look. This is a pretty photo heavy post.
ND-S05
ND-S05 is a black gel with a beautiful scattered holo.
ND-S11
ND-S11 is a deep, dark red packed with bright red, metallic hex glitter.
ND-S36
ND-S36 is a vibrant, red leaning orange with red and silver hex glitters.
ND-S28
ND-S28 is a beautiful and bright pink packed with silver micro hex glitters.
ND-S18
ND-S18 is a gorgeous royal purple, packed with a scattered holo and red, micro hex glitters. This one is most definitely my favourite, it’s so pretty!
All these gels are easy to apply and are opaque in 2-3 coats, depending on how thin you do your coats. For these photos I used a coat of the Kiki London No-Wipe Gel Topcoat to bring out the glitters and finish the mani. They all cured in 1-2 minutes and were solid after. I can’t comment on removal as I always wear gel polishes with a peel off base coat.
I will say that personally I’m not a fan of the actual pots that these polishes are in. First of all because I really struggled to get the foil lids off because there is no tab on them, so gripping it is pretty impossible, I had to stab it then cut around the inside of the rim, which is such a pain. I also knocked one of the pots onto it’s side and din’t realise and in just under an hour nearly half the pot leaked out onto my side table.
Aside from that I really love these polishes and the range of colours looks fab, and they are only £2.26/$2.99 per 5ml pot which will do quite a few full manis. Check them out here and don’t forget to use code CBAQ10 for 10% off your Born Pretty Store order.
Hope you’ve all had a fab start to your week!

These look pretty good, never tried anything like this before. The pink is jumping out at me <3
I think I have only ever tried one pot of gel before and it was a glitter. I honestly thought they would be really fiddly but I think if you have a decent brush for them it’s not too bad. :)x
