I don’t know about you, but I have been finding it really difficult to get any motivation lately. This is annoying me because I was starting to get back in the flow and then… well, you know. We all deal with things in our own way and some of us may be finding it more difficult than others to deal with this. But I am determined that this will not bring me all the way back down again, so today I sat down and did some stuff.
I received this blue, shattered, metallic foil from Charlie’s Nail Art foils and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it, but I have seen some awesome foil nail art and I wanted to do something here that looked like it wasn’t technically planned.
I also added some of these square, crystal rhinestones that I received in my sample pack too.
I started by quickly and lightly swiping on some small strokes of nail foil glue (I got mine here) and waited for that to dry and become tacky.
Then I softly touched the foil to the glue swipes and quickly pulled it back up, which resulted in an awesome paint stroke like pattern.
These kind of look a little messy but I am really happy with them and I think I am starting to get a hang of this foil thing. I have a few more to try out from Charlie and I am hoping to get better with each mani.
Base polish is Wikkid Polish Asteria and topcoat used is Luna Polish Shield Maiden.
You can find the Charlie’s Nail Art foils in 8 colour variations here for 80p a sheet, this one is the Royal Blue variation. And you can find the rhinestones here in a pack of 10 for 89p.
How are you at foils? Let me see your foil nail art, link to them in the comments.

I really like this. The colors look beautiful together. I love that brushstroke pattern it made.
Thank you so much :)x
